We are currently partnering with a highly regarded independent school in Brisbane's northern suburbs seeking a passionate German Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students from Prep to Year 8 through engaging language learning experiences while working within a supportive and values-driven educational environment.
The successful candidate will foster a love of language and culture, create meaningful learning experiences, and contribute positively to the wider school community.
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging German language lessons for students from Prep to Year 8
- Develop programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum and school expectations
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages language acquisition
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress and achievement
- Differentiate learning to cater for a range of student abilities and learning styles
- Establish positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
- Participate in curriculum planning and professional learning activities
- Contribute to the broader life of the school community
- Relevant teaching qualification
- Current QLD registration, or eligibility to obtain registration
- Demonstrated experience teaching Languages, ideally German
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
- Practising Christian and to provide a pastor reference
