We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher  to work in the North-Eastern Victoria to deliver high-quality preschool programs and provide strong educational leadership within a collaborative early years environment.
This role is ideal for an ECT who is committed to inclusive practice, continuous improvement, and supporting both children and educators to thrive.

The Role
Reporting to and working closely with the Centre Manager, you will:
  • Deliver a high-quality, play-based preschool program aligned with the NQF, EYLF and VEYLDF
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the early years educator team
  • Coordinate and oversee preschool programming, documentation, and compliance
  • Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children of all abilities
  • Support continuous improvement through the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
  • Build strong partnerships with families and actively encourage parent involvement
  • Support transitions to school through mid-year, end-of-year, and annual transition statements
  • Utilise technology and innovative practices to enhance learning outcomes
  • Manage enrolment data, reporting, and compliance via Kinder Information Management systems
  • Prepare and manage government and agency funding applications as required
Leadership & People Management
  • Lead and foster a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and clear direction to educators
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and workplan discussions
  • Support professional development and ongoing learning across the team
About You
You are a dedicated Early Childhood professional who brings strong leadership capability and a genuine passion for early learning.
You will have:
  • Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
  • VIT Registration
  • Demonstrated experience teaching in a preschool setting
  • Strong knowledge of early years legislation, frameworks, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
