Role Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved qualification)
- Demonstrated previous experience within a Centre Director capacity
- Extensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS frameworks
- Strong background in centre leadership, ideally with community and regional experience.
- A genuine commitment to supporting children, families, and educators in a low socio-economic context.
- Skilled at stabilising teams, reducing turnover, and building trust.
- Able to manage challenges while remaining calm, professional, and solution-focused.
About the Centre
Are you looking for a rewarding and valued change in your career? Our client is seeking an experienced centre director to oversee the day-to-day operations of this beautiful service in the Gippsland region.
This is a large, integrated service connected with a local primary school in the Gippsland region. The centre is community-focused, supporting a diverse group of children and families, including many from vulnerable backgrounds.
The team is passionate and supportive. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a service that offers support and resources you need to succeed and grow in your new role as a Centre Director. Working alongside a longstanding 2iC you will have hands on support alongside a handover with the current service director. In an off-floor position you will have time and resources to ensure the smooth operations of the service while also having time to mentor and support your team.
Stability and strong leadership are now key priorities to help guide educators and strengthen culture.
