Expect a Star is currently searching for a dedicated ECT for a 5-week block placement, available to commence as soon as possible. This is the perfect opportunity for a passionate teacher who is looking for flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive early learning team.
The Role
In this role, you will:
- Enjoy Consistency – work in the same centre for the full block, building relationships with children and the team.
- Educate and care for children aged 0-5 in nurturing, play-based environments.
- Be a lifesaver for the permanent educators by helping covering lunch breaks, sick days and annual leave days
- Lead and support meaningful learning experiences for your assigned group of children
- Participate and support educators in the observation and recording of children’s development
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators to develop and implement inspirational educational programs

What we’re looking for:
- An Early Childhood Degree or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- Relevant teachers’ registration (if applicable)
- A Blue card for Paid Employment
- Food handling certificate
- Availability to commence immediately
- Minimum 2 days of availability per week
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliability and adaptability - ready to thrive in new environments and support different teams
