As a Casual Educator, no two days are the same, but every day is rewarding. You will:
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 in nurturing, play-based environments.
- Support and facilitate meaningful learning experiences and educational programs.
- Act as a lifesaver for local centres by covering staff absences, lunch breaks, and seasonal leave.
- Collaborate with permanent centre teams to maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere.
- Help monitor and document children’s daily progress and developmental milestones.
We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic educators who love working with children. To be successful, you will need:
- Qualifications: A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively studying an ACECQA-approved qualification).
- Working Rights: Current working rights in Australia.
- Compliance: A valid Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employment.
- Certifications: Geccko Child safety certificate, and Food Handling certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Availability: A minimum of 2 days of availability per week, with flexibility for short-notice morning shifts.
- Attitude: A warm, adaptable, and proactive nature with excellent communication skills.
