The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Centre Director to partner with the Centre Director in leading the team and managing day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving high-quality educational outcomes, supporting educators, and ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Supporting daily operations and overall service management
  • Mentoring, coaching, and developing educators
  • Guiding implementation of engaging learning programs
  • Overseeing documentation, observations, and reflective practice
  • Building strong relationships with families and the community
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and policies
  • Contributing to the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and Assessment & Rating readiness
  • Assisting with enrolments, rostering, and administrative tasks
  • Providing a welcoming and professional presence for families and visitors
Role Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved) or higher
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Assistant Director or service leadership role
  • Experience as Responsible Person or Acting Director
  • Current Working With Children Check and First Aid qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, NQF, and Child Safe Standards
  • Experience with OWNA childcare software
