We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Centre Director to partner with the Centre Director in leading the team and managing day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving high-quality educational outcomes, supporting educators, and ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Supporting daily operations and overall service management
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing educators
- Guiding implementation of engaging learning programs
- Overseeing documentation, observations, and reflective practice
- Building strong relationships with families and the community
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and policies
- Contributing to the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and Assessment & Rating readiness
- Assisting with enrolments, rostering, and administrative tasks
- Providing a welcoming and professional presence for families and visitors
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved) or higher
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Assistant Director or service leadership role
- Experience as Responsible Person or Acting Director
- Current Working With Children Check and First Aid qualifications
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, NQF, and Child Safe Standards
- Experience with OWNA childcare software
