Early Childhood Educators (Certificate III, Diploma & Room Leader) – Frankston

Be part of Victoria’s new government early childhood workforce and help shape the future of early learning. Early Learning Victoria is delivering high-quality, accessible, and inclusive education and care through new government-operated early learning centres across the state. The centre, opening in 2026 will provide long day care and Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten, with future plans to include Pre-Prep.

The Role

  • Support the delivery of a high-quality, play-based educational program that promotes children’s learning, wellbeing, and development
  • Assist in implementing evidence-informed teaching practices guided by the EYLF, VEYLDF, and NQS
  • Contribute to educational documentation and communicate with families about each child’s progress
  • Foster a warm, inclusive, and child-centred environment that reflects Early Learning Victoria’s philosophy
  • Collaborate effectively with the team and uphold all child safety and compliance requirements
Roles are available for Certificate III Educators, Diploma Educators, and Room Leaders, with opportunities to grow and develop within the Victorian government early childhood workforce.

Role Requirements
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
  • Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • Willingness to undertake a Police Check 
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certificates
  • Knowledge of the EYLF, VEYLDF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a passion for early learning
  • Must be an Australian citizen or have full working rights
