Congratulations to Gaston Roy for being our Star Candidate of the Year in Sydney!
Congratulations to Michael Gannaway for being our Star Candidate of the Year in Melbourne!
The end of 2009 has arrived and it’s time that we congratulate two particular candidates who have consistently stood out by providing ongoing and exceptional care to the children of Expect A Star clients.
Gaston Roy is from Argentina and has been working with children for over 5 years. He takes every shift he is offered no matter where it is located or how long it is. The centres that Gaston goes to always want to have him back and are often disappointed if he is unavailable. When speaking to Gaston on the phone he is always cheerful and enthusiastic and it is a pleasure to speak to him. We want to thank him for all his hard work and congratulate him for being named Sydney's Star Candidate for 2009!
Michael Gannaway is thoroughly deserving of this title. He was registered with Expect A Star in August 2007 and since this time has provided wonderful commitment and passion towards his role as a Qualified Assistant.
Michael is extremely flexible and willing to travel anywhere for shifts. He is constantly requested back to centres for his friendly manner and brilliant work ethic. Michael upholds a positive attitude and devotion towards child care at all times and because of this he continually receives positive feedback from staff at centres.
Michael has recently arrived home from an ongoing 5 week shift in the Gulf of Carpentaria where his enthusiasm and eagerness towards the children and staff saw him become an integral member of the centre.
Michael should be very pleased with his efforts and quality of work throughout 2009. He is an extremely valued member of Expect A Star and we cannot thank Michael enough for his terrific contribution to Expect A Star’s success.
