Expect A Star is a specialist recruitment agency in the Early Childhood sector who is currently seeking OOSH assistants to join a casual pool for centres across the city area.
We are seeking those of you who have previous experience working with children, either through nannying, babysitting, voluntary, vacation care or in centre care. You will have enthusiasm, a general passion for working with children aged 5 to 12 years, a 'can-do' attitude, as well as clear verbal and written communication skills.
Within these roles you will be required to interact with children, families of children and staff you work with, assist with supervision of children and activities, setting up and packing away of activities.
Registering for the casual pool includes day to day work across a number of centres through to extended blocks of work with the potential to obtain recurring weekly shifts. The hours for OOSH work range anywhere from 7am - 9.30am in the morning and 2.30pm - 6pm in the afternoon, perfect for students or people who have limited availability during the day.
